Engineering

The engineering can either be provided from the Nisco headquarters or at any location within Switzerland or near the Swiss boarder as defined by the customer. Under special circumstances (e.g. consulting or start-up and commissioning) Nisco can operate abroad for a limited amount of time. If adequate facilities or tools (e.g. laboratory or powerful computer) are not available at headquarters or on site, project specific locations can be evaluated.
We works particularly in fields:

	Design and sizing of equipment and piping systems
	Conceptual engineering for systems and integrated plants
	Process description for the automation of sterile plants
	Project management or assistance of the project manager for specific organisational tasks
	Planning tasks (detailed planning) with the customer's staff or with Nisco Engineering AG allocated specialists (e.g. for piping design, mechanical design and automation)
	Consulting and support of our customers while purchasing second-hand plants and equipment, including the required field engineering and services
	Support for maintenance, spare parts and redesigning existing plants, including the required field engineering and services
	Calculation of the strength of mechanical components
	Calculation of pressurised vessels according to the following codes SVTI, TUEV, ASME and SA
	Investigation of the economical efficiency of process plants and equipment
	Individual consulting for a planned modification or modernisation of a process plant
	Field engineering for modification or modernisation of a process plant
	Support for process plant validation
	Individual consulting for GMP requirements concerning plants, machines and localities (also FDA - requirements), support for the generation of specific documentation
	Consulting in energy technology in co-operation with Huber Energietechnik , Zurich
	Support for the start-up of process plants, customer services as partner also after the successful start-up
	Training and consulting of customer personnel on our speciality fields

Based on our special knowledge for Chemap plants we can serve former Chemap customers in their service and spare part problems.
